To Breathe's Director

My name is Carlos A. Díaz Vázquez, and I was born in Asturias (Spain) in 1962.
I had my university degree in Medicine in Oviedo University (1980-1986) and my pediatrics speciality in the Central Hospital of Asturias (1987-91). So I am a pediatrician, and nowadays I work for the Health Service of the Principality of Asturias.
 

Some responsibilities related to asthma in those cases that I am or I have been involved

• Coordinator of Children with Asthma Program (Oviedo), between the years 1993 and 1996.
• Co-founder and coordinator of Regional Working group of Asthma of Asturias. since 1996 to nowadays.
• Coordinator of Area Asthma Plan ( Area Sanitaria Suroccidental) between 1996 and 1998.
• Coordinator of Collaborative Study on children asthma in Asturias(1998)
• Co-founder of Evidence Based Children Asthma Group (1999)
• Board Member of Working group for the development of Regional Asthma Plan of Principality of Asturias-PRANA (2.000-2.002)
• Coordinator of Airways Group a national network integrated in the Primary Care Pediatrics Spanish Association (2.000-2.003)
• Investigator in ISAAC Group of Asturias (2001-2003).
• Coordinator of Teachers team of PRANA (2003)
